Dr. Reza Kazemi is an international spin doctor, public speaker and an expert on creating influential images. He started his career at a very young age, being active in election campaigns already at an age of 16 years. Today he is being known as one of the “rising stars” within Political Consulting in Europe. Practical Experience: With his background in political marketing, his expertise to influence voter perceptions and to form candidate images, Dr. Reza Kazemi has been internationally involved in more than 750 different campaigns on all political levels: from local, regional and national level – including chancellors, heads of states, minister presidents, prime ministers, candidates for the German National and the European Parliament as well as Head of Parties as well as numerous local politicians like mayors, members for regional and national parliaments and more. During the last decade, he assisted candidates all over the world: e.g. in Western Europe (like Germany, Austria, France…), in Africa (e.g. in Kenya), in Central and Eastern Europe (like Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia…) to North America (especially: USA). Technical Specialization: Combining his background in Political PR and Engineering, Reza Kazemi was one of the first consultants ever in Europe, to professionally combine High-Tech-Tools for Communication and Mass Participation with Concepts of Voter Psychology. As a founder of CAMPAIGNS & TECHNOLOGY his company he has implemented modern campaign technologies and innovative instruments of mass participation, like e.g. the “TalkTOO! Telefonversammlung” and opened a new are of campaigning. In Austria for example they set up an event where 150.000 voters simultaneously received a live call from the former chancellor Christian Kern, where people could come live and ask him questions and to participate in a huge survey. For this event Dr. Kazemi received the POLARIS Gold Award and is known for breaking a record in conducting the largest live discussion that has ever been made in Europe. Using the results of empirical research, he and his colleagues have developed scientific ways for measuring how voters think or feel – for example by using e.g. Facial Expression Technologies, Eye-Tracking tools, Real-Time-Response (RTR) measurements and other technologies within election campaigns. Membership in Professional Organizations: He is a Member of the Board of Directors within the European Association of Political Consultants and a Member of the International Association of Political Consultants, the Association of Professional Political Consultants (Ukraine) and the Public Relations Organization Austria (PRVA). Academic background: Dr. Reza Kazemi has published several books within the area of political communication and is holding several teaching assignments from the University of Mannheim and the University of Ravensburg, where his lectures were on topics like e.g. “Implementation of commercial marketing tools into political campaigns” and “Political marketing” or “Behavioral Strategies in Election Campaigns”.
