Erhan Ali Yılmaz specializes in the fields of mindfulness training, content design and marketing. He has lived
lived in Miami, Stockholm, Riga, Kiev and now in İstanbul for the past 10 years.
During his career Ehran has worked as a successful Creative Director for different advertising agencies including
McCann, Young & Rubicam, and DDB, and with multi-national clients such as Diesel, Starbucks,
Nokia, Vodafone, Audi and Nivea. He has participated in numerous international advertising conferences and
university seminars as a speaker and an instructor, and is currently a columnist on Mindfulness for the Harvard
Business Review.
At the end of 2011 Erhan encountered mindfulness meditation thanks to his enthusiasm for neuroscience
and zen art. The mindfulness exercises he began to practice have dramatically changed his life in a profound
and positive way. That moment became the defining moment of his life. During the subsequent years of his
career, he dedicated most of his time to researches on mindfulness while also working as an advertising
professional.
In 2015 he founded Mindful Academy to help publicly promote mindfulness and touch peoples’ lives in a
positive way.
To date, Erhan has given mindfulness courses and seminars to more than 11000 people worldwide. He also
continues to design training programs for Mindfulness Alliance Austria, which is an international teacher training hub for Mindfulness.
