Dr. Deniz Tuncalp is the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer of ITU ARI Teknokent, the technopark of Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He is also Associate Professor of Management at ITU. Prior to ITU, he had different managerial and technical positions in ICT and consulting industries. He had also co-founded a number of startups and made a succesfull exit in information security in 2003. Dr. Tuncalp hold a Ph.D. in Management from Sabanci University, a MSc and a BSc in Industrial Engineering and a MSc in Information Systems form Middle East Technical University and an MA in Law from Istanbul Bilgi University. Dr. Tuncalp also had visiting research and teaching positions at Carnegie Mellon University and Politecnico di Milano.
