Ahmet Hamdi ATALAY, who was born in Trabzon in 1963, graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1984. He worked as an R&D Engineer in TELETAŞ between 1985-1986 and began to work as a Quality Engineer at NETAŞ in 1987. He continued to work as a Quality Manager and Wireless Systems Manager between 1998-2004 and took up the following positions in the respective period: Board Member at the IT and Communication Authority between 2004 and 2009, Member of the Executive Board of NETAŞ between 2012-2015, Board Member at KRON Telekomünikasyon Hizmetleri A.Ş. between 2013-2015, Board Member at HAVELSAN between 2013-2015, General Manager of PROBİL Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. between 2010-2105. He has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Information Security Association since August 2012. He was also a Member of Computer Software Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey,  Member of R&D Assessment Board of the Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communications, and Member of BoD of Fencing Federation. He is married with two children, and fluent in English and German.
