She graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Department of Education in 2000. She completed her graduate degree with her thesis on "The Effect of Creative Drama Techniques on Learning and Democratic Inclinations" in 2004. In 2005, she completed certificate programs on Leadership in Psychodrama and Creative Drama. In the following years, she continued her work on storytelling.   Her career as a teacher began in 2000 at Tekirdag Misinli Koyu Ilkokulu. She then worked in Izmir, Mardin and Istanbul. Since 2011 she has been a volunteer teacher at NGOs such as Teachers Academy Foundation, Hayata Renk Ver Foundation and Community Volunteers Foundation.
