Alan completed his higher education in various institutions with his master's thesis in the Department of Press and Publishing. Since 2000, he started to appear in various newspapers and magazines with his articles. He was among the screenwriters of the satirical program Heberler (2010-2013 Turkmax). Since 2009, he has been writing regular media articles in his column called “Köşe Vuruşu” in BirGün newspaper. Together with Can Öz, he presents the podcast "New Media 451".
