Biography


On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, she is the successful manager of the World Champion National Women's Volleyball Team, which made history with their performance in the Olympic Qualifiers following the Nations League Championship and European Championship.

Throughout her 20-year professional sports career, Çelik achieved numerous successes, from winning the World Club Championship to the Turkish League Championship, and represented the national team on the court over 300 times. After her professional sports career, she transitioned into a managerial role, and today, Çelik serves as the manager of the Women's National Volleyball Team, known as the "Sultans of the Net," and Fenerbahçe Opet Women's Volleyball Team. She began her volleyball journey at Vakıfbank in Ankara, joining the Vakıfbank senior team in 1997. After the team disbanded in 2000, she moved to Istanbul and played for various clubs. In 2003, she returned to Ankara and continued her volleyball career with Türk Telekom for three seasons. Later, she spent two seasons with Fenerbahçe, and in 2008, she transferred to DYO Karşıyaka. After a season with DYO Karşıyaka, she returned to Ankara in 2009 to continue her volleyball career with Ankaragücü. In 2010, she signed with Beşiktaş JK. After the 2010-11 season with Beşiktaş JK, she joined Azerbaijan's Rabita Baku team. In January 2013, she transferred to Sarıyer Belediyespor. In 2014, she signed with Çanakkale Belediyespor. She concluded her active volleyball career at the end of the 2014-2015 season.
