After graduating from the University of Leeds, Kına Demirel started her career at Migros Ticaret A.Ş due to her passion for retail. She began her retail journey at Migros R&D, where she worked on numerous projects relevant to the retail industry. Later, she took on the role of managing Money Club, Turkey's largest loyalty program, along with her team. Her responsibilities expanded to include overseeing the brand communication of all of Migros Group's brands, where Kına Demirel, along with her team, managed Migros' brand creation, media, and loyalty programs. After completing the establishment phase of Mimeda, a company wholly-owned by Migros and a pioneer in the field of retail media in Turkey, she took on the role of the company's general manager in June 2021. On the international stage, she is a speaker at conferences on topics such as big data, loyalty programs, personal branding, and now, retail media.
