Gülşah Gürkan Bardak graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Cheltenham College in the United Kingdom in 1993 and from Leeds University in the United Kingdom in 1996. After working in consulting and retail sectors, she returned to the family business in 2000. As the third-generation representative of the family company that has been producing and exporting rose essential oils, as well as cosmetic raw materials since 1965, Gülşah Gürkan Bardak founded the gülsha brand in 2011 to leverage her experience and knowledge regarding the unique benefits of roses and to create high-value products. Gülsha, produced with the exclusive formulations of top French skincare experts, is an effective and natural skincare series that contains active ingredients of rose essential oil. Gülşah Gürkan Bardak, on a mission to introduce Turkish roses to the world, offers gülsha branded products to users at over 1000 sales points in more than 10 countries, including the Far East and the United States. With this successful initiative, Gülşah Gürkan was honored with the "Turkey's Female Entrepreneur" award in 2019, presented by KAGİDER, Garanti BBVA, and Ekonomist magazine.
