In 1997, Aysun Öz moved to Istanbul to study at the Faculty of Communication at Marmara University. While she was a student, she joined the faculty's news agency, MİHA. She began working at Sabah newspaper in 2000 and transitioned to Akşam newspaper in 2005, where she served as the editor-in-chief of the weekend supplements. In 2014, she became the editor-in-chief of the weekend supplements at Habertürk newspaper. From 2018 to 2024, she prepared and hosted the cultural program “Ne Yapsak” on Habertürk TV, which focused on the art scene in Turkey and around the world. Aysun Öz also published a book titled "Ofistike Şeyler" with Karakarga Publishing and independently hosts a program called "Başka Şeyler with Aysun Öz" on her YouTube channel.
