Ata Demirer was born in 1972 in Bursa. He enrolled in the Turkish Music Department of the State Conservatory at Istanbul Technical University in 1991. He made his stage debut in 1995 with the play "Komik Para." In the same year, he founded a show orchestra named "Ege Kumpanya," marking the beginning of his professional acting career.
In 1998, he performed at Leman Kültür, and in 2001, he created and produced the program "Korsan TV," which was based on his own characters and impersonations. He gained widespread recognition for his role as "Volkan" in the television series "Avrupa Yakası." During this period, he also began performing in the play "Tek Kişilik Dev Kadro," which was staged over 1,000 times. Between 2007 and 2011, he wrote "Tek Kişilik Dev Kadro 2" and performed in it nearly 1,000 times.
Demirer acted in the films "Neredesin Firuze" in 2004 and "Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti" in 2008. He is the writer and lead actor in films such as "Eyyvah Eyvah" (1, 2, and 3), "Berlin Kaplanı," "Olanlar Oldu," and "Hedefim Sensin." He also made a guest appearance in the 2019 film "Organize İşler Sazan Sarmalı." He has released a Turkish classical music album titled "Alaturka."
In 2023, he took on the role of writer and lead actor in the film "Bursa Bülbülü," directed by Hakan Algül. As of 2024, Ata Demirer continues to perform with his project "Ata Demirer Gazinosu," which has been a box-office success.
