Evren Balta works in the fields of comparative politics, political violence, security, foreign policy, citizenship, and international politics. Among the books she has authored in Turkey, you can find "State, Military, and Security Politics," "Introduction to Global Politics," and "Doubt and Neighborhood." Additionally, her book "The American Passport in Turkey: National Citizenship in the Age of Transnationalism" has received a significant international award. Dr. Balta has contributed to various research projects supported by different institutions. She is also a member of the Global Relations Forum (GRF) and serves as the co-editor of the International Relations Journal. As of 2021, she holds the position of academic coordinator for the Global Politics Forum established by TÜSİAD.
