Orçun Onat completed his undergraduate education in Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University and then pursued an Executive MBA at Koç University. He began his professional career in 1995 at Migros, where he held managerial roles in various departments such as R&D, Marketing, and CRM until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he served as Deputy General Manager in Migros’ subsidiary in the Russian Federation, and from 2007 to 2009, he held the same position at Enka TC. During these periods, he also served as a Board Member at ECR Europe and Loyalty Partners.
Between 2009 and 2014, he worked as Deputy General Manager at Avea, and from 2014 to 2016, he held the same position at Türk Telekom. In 2017, Orçun Onat returned to Migros and became responsible for the E-Commerce division in 2019. Since 2021, he has been serving as the CEO of MigrosOne, which encompasses Migros Sanal Market, Migros Hemen, Migros Yemek, Macroonline, Tazedirekt, Miononline, Migros Ekstra, and MigrosOne Kitchen.
