Ömür Kula graduated from Sabancı University with a degree in Economics and completed her Master's in Visual Arts and Communication Design. She began her career as a strategic planner in the advertising sector. Later, she transitioned to banking as a product and experience designer, joining the founding team of Enpara.com as the Head of Customer Experience, Product/Business Development, and Communications. After the success of Enpara.com, she returned to the DDB group in 2013 as the General Manager of the Tribal WW Istanbul advertising agency, where she and her team executed several award-winning projects.
At the end of 2016, she moved to R/GA to gain experience in a different field, focusing on digital transformation and innovation, serving as the General Manager of R/GA Istanbul for two years. She then established her own consulting company. Ömür also served as the Chair of the Board of the Advertising Foundation for a period. In 2017, she was named one of Fortune's 40 under 40 business leaders and became one of 16 selected from thousands of applicants worldwide for the Yale University 2021 World Fellowship program. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in civil society, particularly in educational NGOs. She currently serves on the boards of the Educational Reform Initiative and SEV. Additionally, she contributes to courses in marketing and communication at Sabancı University, Bilgi University, Bahçeşehir University, and Boğaziçi University.
