Nüzhet Algüneş graduated from Boğaziçi University in 1994. In the early stages of his career, he served as a manager in Sales, Marketing, and Media departments at Unilever for 7 years. Following his role as Vice President at Universal Music Turkey from 2001 to 2002, he returned to the field of marketing communication in 2003, focusing on media buying/planning, business development, strategy, and digital marketing.

Since June 2020, he has been serving as the CEO at OMD Turkey.

Algüneş, among the founders of NETBAN (New Emerging Technologies Business Angel Network), writes articles on the present and future of the communication world in his column in MediaCat magazine. He also participates as a speaker/trainer in seminars and panels.
