He has been a columnist for Vatan, Takvim, and Akşam newspapers. Since 2000, he has been performing on stage with shows such as “İyi Uykular Türkiye,” “Sivrisinek Dedin de Aklıma Geldi,” and “Bütün Kazlar Toplandık.” He has published three books: “35’i Beklerken,” “Severek Dinliyoruz,” and “Babalar ve Oğullar.” His writings have been featured in KAFA magazine since its inception. In 2019, he co-founded KAFA Radio with Güçlü Mete and Candaş Tolga Işık. He currently hosts the programs “Nihat’la Muhabbet” from 07:00 to 09:00 and “Nihat’la Sivrisinek” from 18:00 to 20:00 on weekdays.
