Kına Demirel started her career at Migros Ticaret A.Ş. after graduating from the University of Leeds, driven by her passion for retail. She began her retail journey in Migros R&D, working on numerous projects related to retail. Later, she took charge of managing Money Club, Turkey's largest loyalty program, alongside her team.
Her responsibilities expanded to include brand communication for all brands within the Migros group. Together with her team, she managed all brand creation, media, and loyalty programs for Migros. After completing the establishment phases of Mimeda, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Migros that leads the retail media movement in Turkey, she took over as the General Manager of the company in June 2021.
Kına Demirel is also a speaker at international conferences related to big data, loyalty programs, and personal branding, as well as retail media.
