Dr. Gülfem Saydan Sanver, who was elected President of the European Political Consultants Association in Vienna in May 2022, completed her master's and doctoral degrees at Sorbonne University with a focus on "Political Communication." Her doctoral thesis on comparative electoral campaigns was awarded the highest honor by the jury. In 2013, her work on “Comparative Election Campaigns and Political Party Strategies in Turkey” was published by A.N.R.T. Publishing House. Her second book, “Interpreting Communities,” which examines the impact of cultural class differences on perceptions, was published by Editions Universitaires Européennes in France in 2014.

Sanver began her career in political communication in the 2009 local elections. She has worked with various politicians and mayoral candidates during different election periods, providing political communication consulting and campaign management services. She won the Pollie Award, regarded as the "Oscar" of political communication in the United States, in 2015 for Best Written Material in the International Category and in 2019 for Most Innovative Material. In 2017, she was named one of the World’s Top 100 Strategists by ComPol magazine, based in Washington, and was honored with the Polaris Award by the European Political Consultants Association (EAPC). Dr. Sanver continues to provide communication and strategy consulting services to politicians, local and international companies, and non-governmental organizations through her company, Element Strategy Management and Consulting, and offers various training seminars on current issues in Turkey.
