Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Bolat graduated from Boğaziçi University Faculty of Education. He completed his master's degree at Harvard University Graduate School of Education with Fulbright and Turkish Educational Foundation scholarships. Upon returning to Turkey, he worked as a lecturer at Boğaziçi University for two years. He obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education. He spent the 2007-2008 academic year at MIT Sloan School of Management, taking doctoral courses in leadership and conducting research.
In 2007, he received the 'Best Young Researcher' award at an international conference held in New Zealand. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Bolat has written a column for Hürriyet Newspaper for 12 years and currently gives talks and workshops in companies and schools on the principles of happiness, success, and leadership. He provides consultancy to companies through his developed Talent Management Inventory.
He also manages the Dove Self-Esteem Project and the Google Digital Parenting Project. Through the Parent School he established, he teaches parents the principles of raising happy and successful children, and with the Parentwiser mobile application, he has introduced a Personalized Child-Rearing Guide to the country.
