Özge Güven graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Graphic Design and continued her Master’s degree at the same department. Prior to the advertisement sector, she worked in various design studios in the areas of corporate identity design, publishing design, exhibition design, and packaging design. During her time in the Netherlands, she took part in multidisciplinary projects in studios such as Lava and Ontwerpwerk. She worked and continues to work on communication designs of various cultural arts institutions in Istanbul. She was one of the five designers who were invited by the curators of the IKSV (Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation) 3rd Design Biennial to establish the communication of the biennial and who were part of the biennial. She joined workshops at the Yahşibey Design Works, which lasted for 10 years, worked as a project manager; accordingly, she’s been reflecting on design education and tries to remain in close contact with various design disciplines. In 2014, she started to work as an Arts Manager in TBWA\İstanbul. As of 2018, with the establishment of the department called TBWA Design Community, she worked as Design Director. Her work was awarded in competitions such as Europen Design Awards, Epica, Dubai Lynx, Felis, Crystal Apple, Red, GMK. She was shortlisted twice in the Cannes Lions; this year, she was granted the Bronze Lion for her latest work, which Turkey won for the first time in Design category from Cannes Lions. Later on, she won the Grand Prix at LoerriesAwards with the same work.
