Silvia Moriana is currently working in Barcelona as the Lead of Innovation and Transformation Unit of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation. Silvia has consolidated experience in the humanitarian sector and the global health sector, having worked in several management positions both in the field and in headquarter. Along her years working with MSF since 1998, Silvia has been Head of Mission/ Emergency Coordinator in several missions (Ethiopia, Central African Republic, Yemen, Sri Lanka, Bolivia and Ecuador). In the headquarter, she occupied the Human Resources Direction position from 2008 to 2013. Apart from MSF, Silvia worked in the Institute for Global Health of Barcelona from 2015 to 2017 as coordinator of Chagas Disease Initiative and the Chagas Global Coalition. Silvia has a degree and master degree in Business Management and Administration, as well as a master degree in Creative Process.
