He worked as art director on iconic titles like Colors and Wired, before becoming Creative Director of the Guardian, where he introduced a design philosophy and style which has helped the Guardian build an international reputation and become one of the world’s most recognisable news organisations. In 2010 he set up Mark Porter Associates, a design studio with a global perspective, working for a list of high profile clients across print, broadcast, and digital media. In the last 6 years, MPA has helped some of Europe's most prestigious news brands to adapt to the connected world. Mark's projects have won the highest honours in the industry, and have been exhibited in the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London.
