He was born in Ankara in 1969. He is married, and has two children. He studied Economics at Istanbul University. He cut short his graduate studies in EU Economic Structure. He began his career in media working for Dogan Media Group in 1995.   In 1996, he began working at Universal McCann Istanbul, an associate of Interpublic Group. In 2001, he established the first Programming Department in Turkey, opening the corporate communication channel on content planning and integrated projects to the advertisers. Between 2004-2005, he was assigned as the Managing Director of Lotus Media. In September 2005, he established Veritas Media. In 2013, he founded Mekanik Iletisim, an internet planning and project company.
