Cevat Olçok was born on January 15, 1972 in Mecidiyekavak Village of Çorum, an ancient Anatolian city, which hosted different civilizations for thousands of years. He is the fifth and the youngest child of the Olçok family who was originally Circassian. He completed his elementary, secondary in Çorum and high school education in Istanbul. He stepped into the business life as a high school student in advertising, together with Erol Olçok. In the mid-1990s, when the advertising sector gained momentum, he left his education at Anadolu University, Department of Administration and Organization and founded his own advertising agency in cooperation with Erol Olçok. In 1999, he organized an election campaign for the Doğru Yol (True Path) Party and gained considerable experience. With this great experience he gained at an early age, he decided to work in the field of political communication. In 2001, he carried out name, logo, slogan and corporate identity studies for AK (Justice and Development) Party. He organized election campaigns of Ak Party for 2002 General Elections, 2004 Local Elections, 2007 General Elections, 2008 and 2010 Referendum, 2011 General Elections, 2014 Local Elections, 2014 Presidential Elections (R. Tayyip Erdoğan), 7 June 2015 – 1 November 2015 General Elections and April 16, 2017 Referendum. He has made a great contribution to the success of AK Party in all of its election activities owing to his love for working, discipline, and his fighter character against challenges. After each election Ak Party managed to come at the first place, he led campaigns which made history in the Turkish and world political history such as Durmak Yok Yola Devam (No Stopping, Keep Going), Hayaldi Gerçek Oldu (What was once a dream is now real), Lafa Değil İcraata Bakarım (what Matters is Action, not the Words), Milletin Adamı (The Man of the People), Onlar Konuşur Ak Parti Yapar (They are Talkers, AK Party is a doer), Sen Ben Yok Türkiye Var (It’s not a matter of you and me, it’s only about Turkey). He came up with unforgettable slogans. He has further consolidated his experience in the political communication through many election campaigns run by him countries such as TRNC, Iraq, Georgia, Malaysia, Lebanon, Ukraine, Egypt, Tunisia and Macedonia. Cevat Olçok, the person running the one and only advertising agency of Turkey that organized the highest number of election campaigns in a row and exported such experience to the overseas has also organized and promoted some national and international events such as WTA, United Nations’ 4^th World Humanitarian Summit, Teknofest, and Presidential Cycling Tour with a great success.
