He was born in 1969/Ankara. Having completed his high-school education at Tevfik Fikret High-School, he thereupon graduated from the Electronic Engineering Department of ODTÜ (Middle East Technical University). He then studied for master’s degree in the field of Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, and in the field of BA at Imperial College Management School. He served in Digital Equipment Corporation and Sun Microsystems. In the last 3 years of his career in Sun, he served as the Director-General of Egypt, Levant, and North Africa Territory. After having served in many positions in Sun Microsystems for 7 years, he was transferred to Google. He has been serving therein as Turkish Country Director since 2007.
