Mehmet Okur was born in 1979 in Yalova. His first team was Oyak Renault. Later on, Mehmet Okur weared the jerseys of Tofaş and Anadolu Efes clubs and in his career there are 1 NBA championship, 3 championship of Turkey, 4 Turkey Cup and 2 Presidency Cup In addition, he played also in Anadolu Efes club which took the third place in Europe in 2000-2001 season.
