Born in 1985 in Bursa, İdil Yazar completed her high school education at Koç High School and then moved to USA for university education. She graduated from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Babson College. She worked in Coty, one of the world’s largest cosmetics companies in New York, for 2 years. After returning to Turkey in 2009, she continued her corporate career in Digiturk and LigTV.
In 2013, she received professional chef training at the Culinary Arts Academy. She combined her TV experience with culinary education and her passion for cooking in digital by opening ‘İdil Yazar’ YouTube food channel in 2015. With more than 800 recipes she has published, she has one of YouTube’s largest channels.In 2016, she worked as a columnist at hürriyet.com.tr for 1 year. She continued to write in Milliyet Newspaper in 2018. She continues to present her program named İDİL’DEN, which is broadcasted 3 times a week in BeinGurme. In addition to practical recipes she has shared through her YouTube channel, she aims to introduce Turkish cuisine to the world with her new youtube channel named ‘‘idil’skitchen’.
