She studied philosophy at Istanbul University and started working as an assistant for Dr. Takiyettin Mengusoglu.
In 1965, she completed her Ph.D. Between 1965-1968, she worked as an assistant professor at Atatur University.
In 1968, she transferred to Hacettepe University, where she established the Department of Philosophy. She was the head of the department until 2003.
From 1997 to 2005, Kuçuradi was founding director of the Centre for Research and Application of the Philosophy of Human Rights at Hacettepe University. She is also holder of a UNESCO Chair of Philosophy since 1998.
Since 2006, Kuçuradi teaches philosophy and acts as director of the Centre for Research and Application of Human Rights at Maltepe University.
